Well.. like the past few days or weeks i've been in Barcelona i havent been doing much really, just the ususal.. Eat, Shop & Sleep.. Haha.. i know sounds really really boring. I bet u guys must probably be saying why not check the sites of the city rite ? Well to tell u the truth, i've done that so many time till i'm sick of it!

Shape Booking Night @ Sala Instinto!

After a one and a half week rest i'm finally looking forward to my gig on Thursday Night @ Sala Instinto, Hardgroove Music ALL THE WAY! WOO!. The night is basically a Shape Booking Night so the line up will be Daisychain (A.Professor & Paula Cazenave), DJ Murphy & Myself.

Schranz ?

Schranz ? Some of you guys might be thinking WTF is Schranz ? Well Schranz is basically Super Duper Hard Techno! And when i mean hard i do mean HARD AS NAILS like 150 - 170 BPM!
It all started with Hard Techno back on early 2000, then as the years passed by it kept getting harder and harder till DJ Rush started calling it Schranz.

And the one thing i've realized about Schranz is that they always have very very cheesy breakdowns! oh yea.. and the dj playing is hilarious! Haha.. You gotta check it out!

I'm not putting the music down, the reason why i wrote this post is cause a few ppl have been asking me what is Schranz. I mean i've actually played with both these DJ's and i gotta say that they are super nice ppl. Just the music i guess.

Update Pt. 2

Last night after a tough decision between Umek, Kevin Saunderson & Sven Vath with Ben Sims We decided to catch Sven Vath & Ben Sims at Row 14, i've been wanting to catch Sven for ages (and i do mean ages) and see whats so great about this guy. When i finally saw him.. I was like WTF ? Whats so special about this guy ? I mean he mixes like any ordinary dj.. hell i think u can even take a bedroom dj from Kampung Baru and he can still play better than Sven. And the worse part it was PACKED! PACKED LIKE HELL! All media bullshit i guess.. In the end we moved to the 2nd room where Narkotic Dlux ( http://www.myspace.com/narkoticdlux ) were playing! And fuck me.. Those guys can play! especially Mark! So proper hardgroove! And the best part the 2nd room was Packed! U could tell that those ppl in the 2nd room knew their shit unlike 70% of the ppl in the main room listening to mr. Sven (Bisexual) Vath yup he is (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-n90BVhV_8&feature=PlayList&p=1081D0D9135ED792&playnext=1&index=1).

But of course when Sven finished playing his minimal shit.. Mr. Ben Sims took to the decks, and when he took over most of us were like FUCK YEA! Finally some proper proper hardgroove shit! Mr. Sims never seems to disappoint us :)

Update Pt.1

One week in Bcn.. Yup time really fly's its already been one week since i arrived back in Barcelona.. Havent been doing much actually.. Just been catching up with the guys from the agency and eating, eating, and more eating, drinking & sleeping! Haha.. I know how boring rite ? Well what to do ? This is what happens when your on tour i guess. But thankfully the other day when Ian and myself were walking downtown towards Rita Rouge (My Fav restaurant in Bcn) we came across a Shisha bar! When i saw that i was like finally! a shisha bar! Although it cost 10 euros and wasnt that good, but who cares rite ? beggars cant be choosers. Hehe
