HOME SWEET HOME!

I've been wanting to say that for quite a while now. Yes i'm back in KL after an 18 hour flight/transit half way around the world. The only thing i regret is the weather! While i was in Spain i actually forgot how HOT! it was over here.

Now time to finally get some sleep :) but shisha 1st ;)

Back in Bcn!

After a crazy weekend from Thursday - Sunday (today) i'm so so glad to be back in Barcelona, like literally just touched down like 30 mins ago!

Friday's gig was excellent! I mean even though it was the first set but Row 14 will always be my favourite club in Barcelona! What a night it was!

Saturday was also amazing, although the i was really really tired but yea. After the gig at Row 14 which finished at 6am. I had to rush back home, got my clothes and zoom staright to the aiport as my flight was at 9.35am, and i couldnt afford to miss this flight as its the only flight for that day. I finally arrived at Basel Airport which is an airport smacked in the middle of France and Switzerland at 11am. And like the ususal Daniel the promoter picked me up and drove back to Freiburg, Germany which was like a 40 mins drive. Once we got there, 1st thing was of course FOOD! Haha.

Freiburg is apparetly the warmest city in Germany, but to tell you the truth the weather was horrible! And when i mean Horrible is was fucking HORRIBLE. The same exact kind of weather like England, but worse! It was super cold and wet! The rain never seemed to end, just when it stopped an hour later it would start again.

The gigs however were good! I played in 2 City's, 1st gig was in Lahr, which is also another 40 mins away from 12am - 1.30am and then had to rush back to Freiburg immediately for my set at 3.30am - 5am.

Unfortunately i didnt manage to take any pics for my weekend in Germany, what ashame i know. Reason was we ended up using all the battery the night before at Row 14 and when i got to Germany i realized that i forgot to bring my charger. Sigh.

Gig Updates

Well.. as most of you knew that last night (Thursday) i was playing at Sala Instinto with Murphy & Daisychain under Shape Booking's Night. Well overall the gig was so so la.. I mean the Venue was Shit! But the crowd was quite amazing.. even though there were some funny characters.. haha.

Tonight I'll be playing at Row 14 alongside Cristian Varela & Bando.. Well this was a last minute gig which was confirmed only yesterday at dinner with Mark. And tomorrow to Germany for my last gig in my EU Tour & finally on Monday Home Sweet Home :D Been looking forward to home for a very very long time and is loving the tought of coming home to you :D.

Well.. like the past few days or weeks i've been in Barcelona i havent been doing much really, just the ususal.. Eat, Shop & Sleep.. Haha.. i know sounds really really boring. I bet u guys must probably be saying why not check the sites of the city rite ? Well to tell u the truth, i've done that so many time till i'm sick of it!

Update Pt. 2

Last night after a tough decision between Umek, Kevin Saunderson & Sven Vath with Ben Sims We decided to catch Sven Vath & Ben Sims at Row 14, i've been wanting to catch Sven for ages (and i do mean ages) and see whats so great about this guy. When i finally saw him.. I was like WTF ? Whats so special about this guy ? I mean he mixes like any ordinary dj.. hell i think u can even take a bedroom dj from Kampung Baru and he can still play better than Sven. And the worse part it was PACKED! PACKED LIKE HELL! All media bullshit i guess.. In the end we moved to the 2nd room where Narkotic Dlux ( http://www.myspace.com/narkoticdlux ) were playing! And fuck me.. Those guys can play! especially Mark! So proper hardgroove! And the best part the 2nd room was Packed! U could tell that those ppl in the 2nd room knew their shit unlike 70% of the ppl in the main room listening to mr. Sven (Bisexual) Vath yup he is (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-n90BVhV_8&feature=PlayList&p=1081D0D9135ED792&playnext=1&index=1).

But of course when Sven finished playing his minimal shit.. Mr. Ben Sims took to the decks, and when he took over most of us were like FUCK YEA! Finally some proper proper hardgroove shit! Mr. Sims never seems to disappoint us :)
